ECN’s E*Confirmations service verifies that each station on the distribution list has received, understood and complied with your specific instructions.
ECN creates a personalized form with the requested change and delivers it to each station. Stations are asked to sign, date and fax back (to a toll-free number) an acknowledgement they have received and complied with instructions.
- A voice message is sent to the station Traffic Manager, alerting him or her to the change: “Check your fax machine now for an urgent revision to the Kachina schedule.”
- A “2nd Request” is faxed to stations not responding by end of day.
- A “3rd Request” is faxed to stations who have not responded by the end of the second day.
- Phone calls are placed to any remaining stations who have not responded to fax requests.
- ECN can send a daily summary to the agency (i.e. 75% of stations have responded). A PDF file containing station confirmations is sent to the agency when 100 percent of all confirmations have been received.
