ECN Confirmations

ECN’s E*Confirmations service verifies that each station on the distribution list has received, understood and complied with your specific instructions.

ECN creates a personalized form with the requested change and delivers it to each station. Stations are asked to sign, date and fax back (to a toll-free number) an acknowledgement they have received and complied with instructions.

  1. A voice message is sent to the station Traffic Manager, alerting him or her to the change: “Check your fax machine now for an urgent revision to the Kachina schedule.”
  2. A “2nd Request” is faxed to stations not responding by end of day.
  3. A “3rd Request” is faxed to stations who have not responded by the end of the second day.
  4. Phone calls are placed to any remaining stations who have not responded to fax requests.
  5. ECN can send a daily summary to the agency (i.e. 75% of stations have responded). A PDF file containing station confirmations is sent to the agency when 100 percent of all confirmations have been received.
